Grace for Every Mom is a collaborative community website for moms, written by moms. The three of us – Danica, Emily and Melissa – all “met” via our personal blogs that we started in our early twenties. We each read each other’s blogs and became good friends over the internet.
When we all became moms for the first time in 2015, our friendships strengthened. And with becoming moms, all of our blogs changed from being about us to being almost completely about what takes up all of our time: motherhood. As our lives shifted, so did our writing. And so Grace for Every Mom was born out of our individual love to write and our desire to share about our personal and real experiences in motherhood. We know that the only way we’ve each made it to this point is by God’s grace.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Our mission is to empower, strengthen, support, encourage, and connect with other moms through our writing and community network. Grace for Every Mom is an all-accepting, all-encompassing window of what motherhood is like (and not like!) for us collectively and individually.
We believe that motherhood requires grace, both for ourselves and from ourselves. This community is a place to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you’re not alone – we’re all making this up as we go. This is a place of belonging, encouragement, and friendships. We hope you’ll join us for the wild ride!
